So yesterday morning I had to go to work. So outside they have a kennel and they have two gates that have locks on them so the dogs can't get out, well the side gate is always closed so I never check it and see if it is open or not, so yesterday it was...Well I didn't know this. Well I took the first dog out and apparently it didn't happen to see it or it didn't want to run away so I didn't have a problem with that dog, Thank God. Well then I took the second one out and I go inside and start cleaning and I go back out to check on the dog and it is roaming around then it is faced towards the side gate and suddenly it goes running and I really don't take any notice and then I go to follow it a couple minutes later, and well I see that the door is wide open and the dog is no where to be seen. I look around for like 5 minutes trying to find the dog, Freaking out because I was responsible for the dog and I am never going to find it. Well I started calling it's name and clapping my hands and well two minutes later the dog comes back and comes to me, and lucky I got hold of it and wouldn't let it go, then I had to carry it back inside and close the gate and make sure that it wouldn't open again. I can't believe the dog came back, I must be the luckiest person in the world. I am so lucky...I could of easily got fired for that, but why in the heck would the gate be open, but I was the dumb person that didn't check the gate. Plus I should have put a leash on and walk the dog, but it is just easier to let them run loose in the fenced area, and started cleaning their cage and it would go a lot faster. That is what I normally do anyways. But anyways I decided that I would take the other dogs on lease and just walk them, so I wouldn't happen again. But that is the worst thing that could possibly ever happen...That job can be very stressful sometimes.
